“Famous Fillies,II"  is part of Lisa'a equine racing collection. This treasured canvas panel giclee is handmade.

Unframed size is 8" x 16" x 1/8", framed 11.5" x 19.5" (custom high-quality bronze wood frame and white linen liner). There is no need for glass. A limited number of "Final Furlong" will be reproduced. Lisa signs and numbers each piece with a Roman numeral on the back. Perfect for gift giving or keeping for yourself!

An Artist Embellished canvas is a panel canvas reproduction that is then enhanced by Lisa Palombo personally. No two pieces are alike. Our reproductions are of the highest quality. They are printed in the USA by a qualified publisher who only uses archival materials. Each piece is then varnished before and after the embellishment for added preservation.

"Ruffian" with Jacinto Vasquez on board. A part of the Famous Fillies collection.

Ruffian (1972-1975), nearly jet black in color and massive, was the equine version of a Greek goddess. Her dominant performances earned her the title of American Champion filly at both the age of two and three. Tragically, Ruffian broke down in a match race with Kentucky Derby winner Foolish Pleasure, ending an undefeated 10 career starts. Her jockey was Jacinto Vasquez and trainer Frank Whiteley Jr.

"Lady's Secret" with Pat Day on board. A part of the Famous Fillies collection.

Lady's Secret (1982–2003), a petite gray daughter of the legendary Secretariat, distinguished herself with extraordinary talent and heart. Weighing just 900 pounds, the determined front-runner won 25 of her 45 starts and placed second in nine others. She consistently dominated her female rivals and held her own against male competitors. Trained by Frank Whiteley Jr. and ridden by Hall of Fame jockey Pat Day, Lady's Secret remains one of the most accomplished fillies in racing history.
